Keyword Meta Tag
The most important factor of any web page is the keywords and keyword phrases used in writing the content. The content of your page must contain keywords and keyword phrases relevant to the topic. The keywords and phrases that people use in their searches must correspond to those of the page in order for your page to have a chance in the results page returned by the search engines. Before content is written, a keyword analysis should be done to determine which relevant keywords or phrases to use for the page. The keyword meta tag () should contain the same relevant keywords used on the visible content of the web page. Think of what words you would use if you were the person searching for products or services you are offering. Keep the tag to about twenty words or less. Most search engines ignore the keywords tag, but still scan the actual page for relevant keywords. Since some engines still consider the meta keyword tag, it’s a good idea to still use it.
